How to Edit a WHM Package

Begin by logging into your Web Host Manager (WHM). This is typically done by adding /whm to the end of your domain URL. The login credentials should be provided by your hosting company.
Step 2: Navigate to 'Edit a Package'
Once you're logged in, navigate to the Edit a Package section. You can reach this by clicking on the Packages option in the left-hand menu, then select Edit a Package from the dropdown list.
Step 3: Select the Package to Edit
On the Edit a Package screen, you'll see a list of all existing packages. Click on the one you want to edit and then Click the Edit Button.
Step 4: Edit the Package
After selecting a package, you'll be taken to the Edit a Package screen. Here, you can edit various parameters of the package. These might include:
- Quota (MB): The amount of disk space allocated to the package.
- Max FTP Accounts: The maximum number of FTP accounts that can be created within the package.
- Max Email Accounts: The maximum number of email accounts that can be created within the package.
- Max Quota per Email Address (MB): The maximum amount of disk space each email account can use.
- Max Databases: The maximum number of databases that can be created within the package.
Remember to Save
Don't forget to hit the Save Changes button after making your edits.
Step 5: Confirm Changes
Once you've made your changes and clicked Save Changes, a confirmation message should appear to confirm that the package has been successfully edited.
Be Careful with Changes
Be mindful when making changes to a package. Some changes can affect existing users who are assigned to the package. Always double-check your changes before saving.
Step 6: Review the Package
Finally, return to the Edit a Package screen to review your changes. If everything looks correct, you've successfully edited a package in WHM!
