File Manager

Updated: 06 February 2024
cPanel Version: 118

cPanel organizes all the files in your account into folders. Use the File Manager interface to manage and edit your files.

Notes

  • If you open a folder with a Git™ repository, be careful not to change any files or folders inside. This could mess up the repository.
  • If a tool isn't available, its icon will be gray.
  • Some actions in the File Manager can only be done on one file at a time. Make sure to pick the file you want to work with before you start.
  • If you try to rename, edit, or view several files all at once, only the first file in the list will be affected.
